Whether working in traditional, classical, transitional or
contemporary designs, he has shown the ability to bring out
his clients’ wishes and translate them into the interiors
that fulfill their total requirements and desires. In doing
so, he has still brought out the excitement one would expect
from a designer of his creativity and experience.
Commercial contracts have included Shell International,
Bechtel International, Philippine Airlines, The Canadian
Embassy, the Ugandan High Commission and Metro Goldwyn
Mayer.
Residential contracts have been carried out in a number of
European countries, including several of the Greek Islands,
Switzerland, the South of France, Ireland and England. He
has also worked on projects in Kuwait, Nigeria and Uganda
and completed the interior and the furnishing of a 147 foot
(45 meters) ocean going yacht.
Quentin has also been on a number of HGTV “Designers
Challenge” shows which were highly successful episodes.
These television shows are aired internationally.
Recent California contracts have included a magnificent
Tudor residence in the Pacific Palisades, a stunning
Southwestern style home in Bel Air, a dramatic
contemporary apartment in
Westwood along with exclusive homes in Beverly Hills,
Santa Monica, Newport Beach, Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
Other projects include the remodeling of a lakeside home in
Lake Arrowhead, in the style of a Swiss Chalet, and a
baronial hilltop mansion in Calabasas in a romantic French
Louis XV style.
Quentin Rance ASID CID FCSD began his career in Interior
Design when he entered into a five year apprenticeship in
Southern England with an extremely well respected design
company.
The five years were directed to set periods of time with the
Cabinet, Drapery and Carpet workshops. All of this was
coordinated with the company’s Design Studio, which included
specified days for Art School.
